My wife and I just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. When we awoke that morning, our 8-year-old daughter was already awake and excitedly waiting for us. She yelled, “Happy Anniversary” and told us she had a surprise for us. She told us to close our eyes and she proceeded to lead us out to the family room. She had decorated the room by blowing up a few balloons and covering the walls with hand-written signs. One of them is attached below. It was the best anniversary present I could have imagined. It sure made me feel good to know my daughter would be so thoughtful! Must be doing something right!
