I am always so amazed at what adoptive parents go through as they proceed with an adoption plan. It's such a frustrating, judging, no gaurantees journey of how any of all your time, effort, and sacrafice will turn out. It's wonderful that you have this great perspective you live to share with your children as they grow and especially as they become adults. They will always have your example of hope and faith to help them along the way. Perhaps only when they have struggles in life themselves will they begin to understand your point of view. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

I want to truly thank you for sharing your experience! It touched my heart on many levels. We too have struggeled with everything you described in your story but have yet to find the children to adopt. We are still greatly blessed as we were able to have a daughter of our own just over 8 years ago. She has held us together for sure! But she now tells us that she is REALLY ready for some sisters... I feel we will be able to offer her just that soon.

If our hopes come true, we will be coming to you for some advice soon on how to successfully assimilate our families together. I know that your story will touch many hearts and also provide valuable insight for those who have their own children as to appropriate ways to emotionally support couples struggling with infertility.

BTW... I also enjoyed your blog! Everyone ought to take a moment to check it out!
